Specially selected silvertip fruit (raw, acorn-shaped)

For over 30 years, we have been cultivating Japanese silvertip, a plant with particularly large fruit that grows wild in the Hida mountains, without the use of pesticides in our orchards.

It is 3 to 4 times larger than the common silverleaf plant and produces healthy, beautiful blue fruit.

Personally, I often make and use shochu pickles.

[General method of preparation]

・White liquor 1.8L (1 sho)

・500g silvertip (optional)

・1kg rock sugar (or half as much as you like)

In the past, there were restaurants that cooked and served silvertip,

It has now become a food ingredient that is only known to those in the know.

2. For pets

Recently, it has become popular among cats, and dried catnip berries are also available. When dried, catnip weighs about 1/10 of what it was before. 1000g of catnip can be used to make about 100g of dried catnip.

Other uses for it include freezing the raw fruit and thawing it each time you need it, and depending on how you use it, there are many other ways to use it.

This may be too much of a luxury treat for your cat, so be careful not to give them too much!

Reservations begin one month before the harvest and will be shipped out throughout the season (late July to mid-August).
