The first generation, Shichibei Kinoshita (died 1725), retired from the main family, settled in this 'ichirizuka' (milestone mound) area, and began cultivating the land.

Officially adopted the surname "Kidowaki" in honor of "Kidowaki Shrine," a local center of worship. Operated Kidowaki Farm, primarily engaged in forestry and rice cultivation.

A seminar on fruit tree propagation was held at the Gifu Prefectural Agricultural Experiment Station Hida Branch (now the Institute for Mountain and Upland Agriculture). The 10th generation participated as a second-year student. Apple trees were planted in the garden.

Began cultivating grapes for fresh consumption.

After graduating from Nagoya University's Faculty of Agriculture, the 11th generation trained at Orville Farm in Washington, USA, through the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC).

Upon returning to Japan, Kidowaki Orchard was officially established. Opened a 2-hectare apple orchard. Introduced electronic techniques.

Began mail-order sales of apples.

Kokufu RC Helicopter Pest Control Association was established for pest control in large, redeveloped rice fields and for simultaneous pest control in Kokufu-cho. Secretariat: Kokufu-cho Agriculture and Forestry Division, Aircraft: YAMAHA R-50

A hand-carved sign for Kidowaki Orchard ORCHARD HOUSE was put up.

The 12th generation began cultivating grapes for wine, a first in Hida.
