The first generation, Shichibei Kinoshita (died 1725), retired from the main family and settled on the land of this ichirizuka (milepost), beginning to cultivate the soil.

The family officially adopted the surname "Kidowaki," named after "Kidowaki Shrine," which was a local center of worship. Kidowaki Farm was established, focusing on forestry and rice cultivation.

Participated as a second-generation student in the Practical Course of the Gifu Prefectural Agricultural Training Center Hida Branch (currently a fruit cultivation promotion course held at the Gifu Prefectural Institute of Mountainous Area Agricultural Research). Planted apple trees in the garden.

Began cultivating grapes for fresh consumption.

After graduating from the Faculty of Agriculture, Nagoya University, the 11th generation underwent training at Auvi Fruit in Washington, USA, through the Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC).

Upon returning to Japan, Kidowaki Orchard was officially established. A 2-hectare apple orchard was opened. Electronic techniques were introduced.

Began mail-order sales of apples.

Kokufu RC Helicopter Pest Control Association was established for pest control in large-scale paddy fields consolidated and for comprehensive pest control in Kokufu-cho. Secretariat: Kokufu-cho Agriculture and Forestry Division, Aircraft: YAMAHA R-50

Erected a hand-carved sign for Kidowaki Orchard ORCHARD HOUSE.

The 12th generation began cultivating wine grapes, a first in Hida.
Established a 0.3-hectare trellised vineyard.
