Poiré Hida Doux, sweet, 375ml, half bottle

Poiret Hida is a poiret made from 100% Hida pears grown at Kidowaki Orchard in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Poiret is a sweet, effervescent pear wine. Using a technique called secondary fermentation in the bottle, the carbon dioxide produced by the yeast is trapped inside the bottle.

The label features a symbol of Hida This was drawn by designer Keiko Kishimoto, who is a lecturer at the Kyoto Seika University Illustration Department.

The single serving half bottle is recommended for those trying cider for the first time.
