Cidre Hida Doux, sweet, 375ml, half bottle
Cider Hida is made from 100% Hida apples grown at Kidowaki Orchard in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Cider is a sparkling wine made from apples. Using a technique called secondary fermentation in the bottle, the carbon dioxide produced by the yeast is trapped inside the bottle.
The label features a symbol of Hida The illustration was done by designer Keiko Kishimoto, who is a lecturer at the Kyoto Seika University Illustration Department. The illustration is based on the local folk tale "The Fox Boy of Ankokuji Temple". We asked Zean to create a work of art depicting his visit to Orchard House (a fruit orchard shop and cafe).
The single serving half bottle is recommended for those trying cider for the first time.
