Cidre Hida Brut, dry, 375ml, half bottle

Cider Hida is made from 100% Hida apples grown at Kidowaki Orchard in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Cider is a sparkling wine made from apples. Using a technique called secondary fermentation in the bottle, the carbon dioxide produced by the yeast is trapped inside the bottle.

The label features a symbol of Hida The illustration was done by Keiko Kishimoto, a designer and lecturer at the Illustration Department at Kyoto Seika University. Our mascot dog, Jay (a miniature dachshund), will be welcoming you on our behalf, surrounded by the three varieties of apples used in our cider (red: Sun Fuji, yellow: Shinano Gold, green: Granny Smith).

The single serving half bottle is recommended for those trying cider for the first time.
